COP-30 in Belém, Brazil, is a crucial opportunity to determine the direction of the post-2025 implementation of the Paris Agreement. In this context, civil society, indigenous communities, and grassroots organizations need to emerge as solid key actors.

Due to the complex scope of issues and negotiation dynamics, the World Wildlife Fund (WGII) and its partners are holding a series of thematic trainings. The goal is to accelerate and deepen understanding, analytical skills, and strategic synergies in the lead-up to COP-30.

This series of thematic trainings is titled "Strengthening the Capacity of Civil Society and Indigenous Communities Towards COP-30: Understanding Climate Change Issues, Mechanisms, and Advocacy Strategies." In this first session, WGII ​​collaborated with the MADANI Berkelanjutan Foundation and the Indonesian Forum for the Environment (WALHI), which carried the theme: "Climate Crisis and the Birth of the Paris Agreement."
