In order to provide information related to the track record of members of the House of Representatives to the public at large on environmental issues leading up to the 2019 elections, #Vote4Forest conducted a review of the partisanship of members of the House of Representatives on environmental issues, with a third case study of the Palm Oil Bill. This study shows that there are 30 members of the House of Representatives who are actively involved in the discussion of the Persecurity Bill. A total of 28 members will again run in the 2019 election. The majority of members of the House of Representatives involved showed an adhesion to invite this bill, although the urgency of this bill is very worthy of question and has been rejected by the government in the national interest. Representation of the people's representatives in Dapil which there is a large corporation of palm oil and cause conflict, in fact, does not guarantee their partiality in the interests of the community over the environment that has been enshrined in the constitution. The strong establishment of the people's representatives in this effort to certify this is caused by the indication of the close indication of the relationship of the party's core officials either in ownership or relations with this monoculture industry. This finding is alarming, because the main interest that is encouraged in the passage of this bill is the interest of a handful of the richest tycoons in the country, namely the ruler of the palm oil industry.
