We are a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing climate crisis through research and advocacy. We formulate and promote innovative solutions to climate crisis by bridging collaborations between various stakeholders.

Executive Director
Nadia has had an impressive seven-year career at the International NGO Forum on Indonesian Development (INFID). Subsequently, she joined Bank Information Center (BIC), and for the past six years, she has been dedicating herself to various climate change and forest protection initiatives, with a strong emphasis on climate financing. Her professional background also includes valuable experience in media engagement, project management, stakeholder engagement, and policy analysis.
Program Director
Engaged in climate change, forestry, and environmental law forums since 2000, his extensive experience encompasses roles such as coordinating Indonesia’s Civil Society Forum for Climate Justice , developing the National REDD+ Strategy, and acting as the national REDD+ advisor for the Rainforest Foundation Norway (RFN). In 2016, he previously held the position of Deputy Director for the Alliance for the Sustainable Palm Oil Indonesia Project (Aliansi Sawit Lestari Indonesia) at Winrock International.
Finance Manager
Indah has been active in diverse professional fields since 1995. However, in 2003, she shifted her focus to finance. It was in August 2019 when Indah embarked on her first journey into the NGO sector by joining MADANI Berkelanjutan.
Knowledge Management Manager
Since 2010, Anggi has been actively involved in influencing national and international forest and climate change policies. She is an expert in policy analysis and issues related to climate, forests, and indigenous community rights. For three and a half years, Anggi managed the forest and climate change program at Perkumpulan HuMA before joining MADANI Berkelanjutan.
Human Resource
Aulia's profound passion for the social sector shines through her career journey. She initiated her professional path by joining an NGO in 2013. In 2017, she briefly ventured into the for-profit sector, but her unwavering dedication to the social domain prompted her return to the NGO world in February 2019, with MADANI Berkelanjutan.
Sustainable Commodities Program Officer
Graduated from the Management and Public Policy Undergraduate Program of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Trias embarked on his career in the research field as a research assistant at the Center for Regional Planning and Development Studies at UGM. His passion for research led him to develop an interest in the NGO sector. In 2017, he decided to join MADANI Berkelanjutan, where he has been involved in managing several programs, including Sustainable District, Monitor Peat, Vote4Forest, and data organization and information for Sustainable Palm Oil. During his leisure time, Trias is often found cycling, reading novels, and occasionally hiking.
Forests and Climate Program Officer
As a meteorology graduate from Institut Teknologi Bandung, Yosi possesses a strong interest in activities related to natural resources. Her passion has led her to actively participate in various non-profit organizations and government initiatives, particularly those related to climate change activities. Now, this Minangkabau woman manages the Forests and Climate Program at MADANI Berkelanjutan.
General Affair Staff
Yeni has spent two decades navigating the field of finance and assisting six different companies, but this hasn't stopped her from seeking new adventures. In 2018, for the first time, she ventured into social and environmental issues by joining MADANI Berkelanjutan. Currently, she is responsible for handling the organization's finances alongside the Finance Manager.
Green Development Program Officer
Resni, born and raised in Kalimantan, has always held a deep appreciation for nature. As an environmental activist, she has found ample room for personal growth while also making valuable contributions to the environment. With over seven years of experience in multi-level and cross-sectoral coordination, including sustainable land management in agriculture, peatlands, and coastal areas, she has demonstrated her commitment to environmental causes. In her leisure time, she enjoys exploring culinary delights and traveling.
Forests and Climate Program Assistant
Driven by her anxieties from witnessing the Earth's degradation as a result of climate crisis, coupled with her dissatisfaction with her past efforts in waste management, Salma, a graduate in International Relations from Universitas Gadjah Mada, decided to join MADANI Berkelanjutan as a Program Assistant for the Forests and Climate Program. Her hope is to amplify her contribution to climate crisis mitigation efforts in Indonesia.
Social Media Specialist
Involved in the world of digital creativity since 2017, Izhar Alkhalifard, who often goes by Izhar or Alka, has gained a wealth of experience in social media management. He views the digital world as an ecosystem that can be harnessed to spread goodness across all aspects of life, connecting living beings, the Earth, and the divine. Born in '98, he also has a deep appreciation for the arts, culture, and literary works, particularly captivated by the verses of Kahlil Gibran, Pablo Neruda, and Victor Hugo. He enjoys talking to animals and believes that daydreaming is an essential part of his daily routine, as he finds that it's through imagination that he encounters the wonders of the world
Program Assistant Komoditas Berkelanjutan
A graduate of the Faculty of Economics and Management of Institut Pertanian Bogor, she previously worked in the banking industry. She then ventured into the field of data processing and ultimately found herself at MADANI Berkelanjutan, driven by her interest in work that prioritizes a face-to-face approach. As a young adult with a penchant for various music genres, she is currently enthusiastic about racket sports such as tennis, badminton, and squash.

Aizah is deeply passionate about environmental issues and is keen to contribute to the preservation of Earth's sustainability. In her free time, she expresses her thoughts on social and natural contexts through poetry

Amel possesses an educational background in environmental geography and has been involved in various social-environmental projects. She has set a clear path for herself to continue working on mitigating climate change.
Researcher
For Delly, writing is a hobby. He once said, "Something feels missing if I don't write." Since his college years, he has been actively writing for various local and national newspapers. With his experience in political consulting and social activities at the JEMARI Sakato, Delly believes that one day he will be able to make a significant contribution to society through MADANI Berkelanjutan.
Program Assistant Hutan & Iklim
Intan is an environmental enthusiast who has a deep appreciation for the interconnectedness of space, location, and their role in shaping social phenomena. She believes that every place has a unique story waiting to be uncovered. To Intan, the environment is more than just the air we breathe or the forests we admire; it encompasses the tangible and intangible connections that exist. She sees the environment as a complex system where everything is interrelated, and this includes the human component. Intan believes that humans, with their unique capacity for 'should' thinking, should strive for a relationship with nature that goes beyond domination, focusing on interconnectedness and mutual dependence.
GIS Specialist
Graduating with a degree in Meteorology from Institut Teknologi Bandung, he has been immersed in the field of mapping since 2011. His journey commenced as a geoscience consultant at LAPI ITB and PT Prihaditama, where he served as a GIS Specialist. In these roles, his responsibilities ranged from conducting field surveys to creating 2D and 3D subsurface maps.
He strongly emphasizes the critical need to address the Earth's urgent situation as our planet has entered a phase of climate emergency.
Media and Stakeholder Engagement Officer
Luluk is a Media Campaigner with over 14 years of experience in managing advocacy media, communication, and knowledge management in civil society organizations. She has previously been actively involved with the Secretariat of the Agrarian and Natural Resources Reform Cluster (Pembaruan Agraria dan Pengelolaan Sumber Daya Alam - Pokja PA PSDA), the Mining Advocacy Network (Jaringan Advokasi Tambang – JATAM), SatuDunia-OneWorld Indonesia, the Epistema Institute, and the Secretariat for Agrarian Reform and Social Forestry. Her diverse experiences across various organizations have molded Luluk into a public campaigner for environmental issues, a media communication consultant, and a speaker in knowledge management, advocacy media, public relations, and social media activities.

An expert in the field of forest conservation, Yuyun Indradi has previously served as the Head of the Forest Politics Team at Greenpeace Indonesia, a member of the Indonesia Ecolabel Institute (Civil Society Chamber), a former Council Member of Forest Watch Indonesia, a member of Kaoem Telapak Bogor, and the founder of Pusaka (an organization focusing on indigenous peoples' rights and forest management issues, with a particular focus on Papua).
Advisor
An activist with a deep understanding of forests, biodiversity, fisheries, agriculture, policy lobbying and advocacy, stakeholder forums, and frequent engagement with rural communities. Over the past decade, he has primarily concentrated on campaign activities, particularly popular campaigns aimed at garnering public support for sustainable agriculture and food sovereignty.
Advisor
A lawyer with over 10 years of experience working in the fields of environmental protection and indigenous communities. Currently, he collaborates with the Institute for Research of Innovative Earth (Institut Penelitian Inovasi Bumi – INOBU) to support the development of strategies and policies for low-emission rural development in Central Kalimantan and West Papua. He also served as a council member of Perkumpulan HuMa from 2016 to 2019.

In 2017, she founded Anggriani & Keuangan, affiliated with Safir Senduk & Rekan.
