The key to the successful implementation of low-carbon and climate-resilient development (PRKBI) is collaboration between stakeholders . This is currently being done by bringing together the Maluku Provincial Government, the central government represented by the Ministry of National Development Planning of the Republic of Indonesia (PPN/Bappenas), and civil society groups, in this case the Madani Berkelanjutan Foundation.

This was conveyed by Novia Mustikasari, as Regional Liaison Officer, Low Carbon Development Indonesia (LCDI) Bappenas RI at the technical guidance event for AKSARA (National Low Carbon Action Plan Planning and Monitoring Application) in Strengthening Green Programs in the Implementation of Indonesia's Climate Commitments in Maluku Province which was held on February 15-17, 2023 in Ambon, Maluku.

Novia also stated that the implementation of greenhouse gas reduction activities currently being carried out will be in line with the Regional Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPD) and the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD).

"To ensure the smooth implementation of AKSARA, the Bappenas LCDI secretariat is very open to discussions and consultations with the regions so that harmonious collaboration can be built in achieving the Low Carbon and Climate Resilient Development targets," said Novia.

Resni Soviyana, Green Development Program Officer of the Sustainable Madani Foundation, stated that the Sustainable Madani Foundation is highly committed to supporting the central and regional governments in building synergy in achieving national climate commitment targets.

"Through the Strengthening Green Program in the Implementation of Indonesia's Climate Commitment and AKSARA's technical guidance, the Madani Berkelanjutan Foundation aims to demonstrate that harmonious collaboration between stakeholders can truly be key to achieving Indonesia's targets in addressing the climate crisis," Resni emphasized.

Resni also stated that this collaboration is expected to inspire stakeholders in other regions, making achieving Indonesia's climate commitments easier, driven by a spirit of mutual cooperation between the central government and non-party stakeholders, such as regional governments and civil society organizations.
