Grounding the Moratorium and Evaluating the Palm Oil Moratorium

Strengthen the implementation of public information disclosure, particularly regarding Oil Palm Plantation Land Use Rights (HGU) data, as transparency is essential for accurate permit evaluation and oversight.

Moratorium Coordination Meetings should synchronize their agendas and outcomes with other working teams (such as the PTKH Team, Agrarian Reform Team, and KPK Coordination and Supervision Team) to effectively resolve overlaps between forest areas and oil palm plantations.

The government must take legal action and impose sanctions on companies that violate laws or cause environmental and social harm. In addition, civil society and Indigenous peoples should be formally included in the Moratorium Working Team.
