The Importance of Commodity Diversification for the Welfare of the Village Community: Out of ten provinces with the largest rate of oil palm land development, only three of them have a high level of welfare of the village community. In the future, there needs to be an approach to diversify commodities at the village level by paying attention to the balance of one commodity with other commodities.

Improvement of Governance Becomes Fundamentals for Increased Palm Productivity: Although it is the largest CPO producer in the world, coupled with the wide rate of gardens that are fairly large, in fact Indonesia’s palm oil productivity is still far from expectations. In the future, the revamping of governance should be the focus of all parties in parsing this problem.
