The One National Map Policy or more commonly called the One Map Policy which has been rolled out in 2016 is almost complete. Of the 85 thematic maps worked on, 84 thematics were completed. Only the thematic map related to the unfinished village/village administrative boundary map. It will be completed by the end of 2020. The budgeting can also be through village funds.

Luluk’s Update explained that there are indications of overlapping all regions of Indonesia of ± 77.3 million hectares or 40.5%, consisting of overlapping RT, RW, Regency, City and Province by 9.3%, Forest Areas by 10.6%, the layout of forest areas that have been aligned with 16% and a combination of overlap involving RT, RW, Forest Areas and permits of 4.6%.

In the case of this one map policy, President Jokowi asked for geospatial information that has been generated from this one map policy can be accessed in one geospatial, so that each K / L and local government can obtain one source of spatial data one standard, one reference, one database and one geoportal.

The President also reminded ministries and agencies and local governments to immediately utilize this one spatial data as a reference in spatial-based development planning. By referring to the same data, it is expected that policies and planning with each other can be coordinated. With the existence of a map contained in one geoportal should no longer be a difference in the database in the preparation of policies, the preparation of spatial planning and the resolution of various problems related to spatial in Indonesia.
